The show airs on KBS Cool FM daily at 10 p.m. KST (9 a.m. ET). As the show searches for its host starting in November, after the fourth generation male idols take off, the network has announced a new second generation idol who will be the new host of KBS 2 FM’s âKiss The Radioâ.
On October 25, KBS announced that Lee Minhyun, a member of second-generation band BTOB, had been finalized as the new DJ for the late-night radio show, “Kiss the Radio.” This means that once TXT members complete their special accommodation, the radio show will have its new permanent host in the form of BTOB’s Minhyuk.
Minhyuk becomes the DJ
Minhyuk has proven himself and his talents, despite being the underdog, that he is part of the latest subunit of BTOB, the return of BTOB 4U with ‘Outside’. The album along with its title track did wonders on the charts and added a few notches to BTOB’s belt of achievement. It also adds that BTOB is still proving its popularity even after ten years since its debut. Fans are anticipating this new adventure with Minhyuk and are waiting for his first appearance as a radio show host given his excellent sense of humor, entertaining nature and lovable personality.
While explaining why the network chose BTOB’s Minhyuk to host the show, KBS Radio said, âBTOB’s Lee Minhyuk is a musician respected by young idols. He is expected to display a friendly charm while communicating comfortably with not only young musicians but listeners as well. The first episode with Minhyuk as a guest airs on November 1 at 10 p.m. KST (9 a.m. ET).
