Listen to the hip Oklahoma radio call of the TD winning Sooners game

Oklahoma and Texas gave us one of the best college football games of the year on Saturday in an instant classic.

The Sooners pulled off a 21-point comeback to stun the Longhorns after Kennedy Brooks ran for a 33-yard touchdown on a play that was originally supposed to set Oklahoma up for a field goal attempt! All of this, of course, came after the Sooners benched starting quarterback Spencer Rattler for Caleb Williams in the second quarter.

Saturday’s game was an all-time high, Oklahoma’s ability to return to the game and Texas’s legendary fumbling with a 21-point lead. Brooks’ final comeback race was just the delicious icing on the already stellar cake for this Red River Showdown.

With great plays, even better radio calls, because Oklahoma radio’s call to the Brooks run is also one of the most hyped we have heard.

As for the flip side, here is the appeal from the Texas side, which is much less enthusiastic.

Oh, and for good measure, have the Russian touchdown appeal!

So good.
